Accounts Manager - london
Accounts manager required by leading, independent drinks company.
This role has two parts. Firstly you will be responsible for managing cash resources and making sure they are used as efficiently as possible. The second aspect is focused on reducing the company`s credit risk.
The responsibilities of this job include
Cash flow projections
Treasury function
Managing the debtors ledger
Managing the creditors ledger
Assistance in preparing the monthly accounts and the annual audit pack
Managing a small team of credit controllers and purchase ledger clerks
You will be educated to degree level with a 2:1 or greater from a good university. You also need to have at least two years of commercial experience, working in a position that has had exposure to managing cash resources. You definitely need to have management experience and ideally also experience of managing either the debtor or creditor ledger.
You will have attention to detail, strong commercial awareness and fantastic communication skills. Being good at prioritising and project management are also essential. You also need to have studied CIMA or ACCA to intermediate level.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
